December 26, 2004: Peyton Manning has had so many historic moments throughout his career, but this day 10-years ago was one of the biggest. In a game against the San Diego Chargers, the then Indianapolis Colts quarterback found wide receiver Brandon Stokely in the end zone for his 49th touchdown pass of the season, breaking the previous NFL single-season record held by Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins. Manning holds many of the all-time passing records, including most touchdowns of all-time. But that 2004 season proved to be Manning's best, capped by that 49th scoring toss and an MVP award. His stats for the season read: 4,557 yards, over 67 percent completions, 49 touchdowns to only 10 interceptions. Here's to all 49 touchdown passes that season:
