Gregory John Norman was born February 10, 1955 in Australia.

Norman would become one of the most dominant golfers ever. The man nicknamed "The Great White Shark", or just "The Shark", spent 331 weeks as the world's Number 1 ranked golfer in the 1980s and 1990s, won 90 professional golf tournaments, and two majors at the Open Championship (1986, 1993). Norman has earned more than $1 million five times on the U.S. PGA Tour, and is the first to pass the $10 million mark in career earnings, according to Wikipedia.

I strongly encourage you to read this piece by USA Today. In the story, Norman talks about attacking life the way he always has on the golf course.

Check out his best career moments:

He is now a very successful businessman with his company Great White Shark Enterprises. The company primarily focuses on golf and golf lifestyle. Norman has designed several golf courses. For his birthday he can go ahead and open up his own bottle of wine because he also has his own wine label (note: I had some the other day and for the price it really isn't bad).

Happy 60th Birthday, Greg Norman.
