It's been a good year for Hailey Clauson. Sure, she was one of the cover models for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, but more impressive was her GQ photo shoot with Rob Gronkowski. Gronk gave her a piggyback ride for the cover, showed her how to party in Miami Beach and appeared to display his junk for Clauson.
Unfortunately, Clauson revealed to ThePostGame she did not see Gronk's you-know-what.
"I'm sorry to break the news but it's an illusion," she says of their iconic boat-flashing image. "It's 'movie magic.'"
The photo is real, but the details are exaggerated. Clauson and Gronk were both on the boat at the same time, but she saw something different than the viewer.
"He had a Speedo on and pulled it down to make it look like he wasn’t wearing anything."
Oh, well. The photo is still funny.
Clauson, who spoke to ThePostGame at the Audi Player Index Pickup Soccer Match, had never met Gronk before showing up on set, but the 21-year-old says the 27-year-old Patriots tight end is "so funny" and "like a big kid."
