Washington State has a chance to make history Saturday night in Seattle. With a win at rival Washington, the Cougars can make their first-ever Pac-12 Championship Game (the title game has existed since 2011). Washington State would get a shot at its first Pac-12 crown since 2002.

But head coach Mike Leach apparently didn't feel the pressure this week. He had time Tuesday night to give some advice to a reporter who is getting married next week.

Leach, who is known for his eccentric rants at press conferences, met his wife Sharon while the two were students at BYU in the early 1980s. According to Business Insider, the two have been married 35 years.

With a victory in the Apple Cup, Leach would hit the 10-win mark for the first time since he came to Pullman in 2012. His Cougars beat the Huskies that first season, but Washington has won the last four meetings.

Washington State is No. 13 and Washington is No. 17 in the current College Football Playoff Rankings. The two kick off Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
