Seth Curry

The world is waiting on greatness. With their 72nd victory on Sunday, the Warriors set themselves up to break the Bulls' single-season win record on Wednesday night in Oakland. Stephen Curry could become the NBA's first unanimous MVP.

Currymania did not pause Monday night. It showed up in the form of Seth Curry, Stephen's younger brother.

Seth recorded his first career double-double, a 20-point, 15-rebound effort with a career-high three steals. DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison all stayed home for "rest," allowing Curry to lead the Kings to a 105-101 victory in just his eighth career start.

The highlights are very Curry-esque. There are spin moves, three-pointers, behind-the back assists, alley-oops, scoop layups -- you know the family arsenal.

That spin move-into a three-pointer though…

As is customary with the Currys, they need to suffer through years of coaches and executives doubting them before they can succeed. Like Stephen, Seth was overlooked in high school and initially played for Liberty University in college. He averaged 20.2 points in his freshman season while Stephen, then-a sophomore at Davidson, went to the Elite Eight.

Mike Krzyzewski immediately brought Seth to Duke as a transfer, and he made Second-Team All-American as a senior. In his first two pro seasons, Seth played four NBA games with the Cavs, Grizzlies and Suns, but he made two D-League All-Star Games.

Seth led the 2015 Summer League in scoring (24.3 ppg) and landed a contract with the Kings. In 43 games, he is averaging 6.7 points and 1.4 assists in 15.2 minutes.

But as of late, Sacramento is giving Seth a chance and he is making the most of it. In the team's last ten games, Seth has put up double-digit points in nine. In that stretch, he is shooting 28-for-52 from three-point range -- a cool 53.8 percent.

Adding to all this is that just a couple weeks ago, Kings Coach George Karl was criticized for saying Seth would only be around "a couple years."

After Seth's Monday night performance, Karl said, "Seth Curry, let's talk about him tonight. Man, he had a high game, a highlight film in one game."
